Stretch Marks Treatment in Toronto
One of the most advanced stretch marks treatments in Toronto — Potenza™ RF microneedling, combining deep-penetrating monopolar RF to rebuild collagen with precision bipolar RF to refine the surface. It treats every key area — abdomen, lower stomach, hips, flanks, thighs, buttocks, breasts and arms — smoothing, tightening and visibly improving texture, performed by advanced nurses.
Advanced RF microneedling platform — the only one delivering both monopolar and bipolar energy, fully personalized to each individual. Safe for all skin types.

What is RF microneedling for stretch marks?
For most women they arrived with pregnancy, a growth spurt or a weight change — and they’ve outlasted every cream that promised to fade them. That’s because stretch marks are dermal scarring, and creams never reach the dermis. Potenza™ RF microneedling does: delivering both monopolar and bipolar RF energy — safe for all skin types — through ultra-fine insulated needles directly into each mark, triggering fresh collagen that rebuilds the tissue from within.
For many clients this is part of a non-surgical mommy makeover — restoring skin quality after pregnancy, weight changes or time: firming lax areas, improving texture and fading stretch marks across the stomach, hips, thighs and breasts, without surgery or extended downtime.
Over a series, marks become softer, flatter and less distinct — the texture smooths, the edges blend, and the colour difference between the mark and surrounding skin narrows. Newer red or purple stretch marks generally respond faster than mature white ones, which have less active blood supply and take more sessions to shift.
Benefits of stretch marks treatment
- Softer texture — The raised or sunken feel of marks smooths as collagen rebuilds the tissue.
- Flatter marks — Indented lines gradually level toward the surrounding skin.
- Blended colour — The contrast between mark and skin narrows, so marks catch the eye less.
- Firmer skin overall — The same RF energy tightens the surrounding skin as it treats the marks.
- Safe across skin tones — Insulated needles and adjustable RF protect the skin around every mark.
- No surgery, minimal downtime — A day or two of redness per session — life continues as normal.
What can stretch marks treatment help?
- Post-pregnancy stomach Marks across the abdomen from pregnancy — the most common request we see.
- Hips & thighs Marks from growth, weight change or pregnancy along the hips and thighs.
- Upper arms Lines along the arms from muscle gain or weight fluctuation.
- Newer red or purple marks Fresher marks with active blood supply — these typically respond fastest.
How many stretch marks treatment sessions do I need?
Collagen remodeling is slow biology — expect a series and a months-long timeline, not a single-visit fix.
Most stretch mark plans run three to five sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. Newer red marks often sit at the lower end; mature white marks need the fuller series.
The treated area looks lightly sunburned for 24–48 hours, then settles. Each session layers more collagen into the marks.
Softening, flattening and colour blending build gradually over two to four months as collagen remodels — and marks continue to refine after your series ends.
Your appointment, step by step
Plan for roughly 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the area.
-
Mark assessment
Your nurse examines the marks — their age, colour, depth and spread — and gives you a clear read on how much improvement to expect.
-
Numbing
Medical-grade numbing is applied to ensure maximum comfort during treatment.
-
Potenza™ RF pass
Your nurse treats each mark at the right depth and energy, adjusting mode and intensity as skin thickness changes across the zone.
-
Soothing & plan
Calming skincare goes on, aftercare is reviewed, and your next session is booked four to six weeks out — with progress photos to track real change.
Potenza™ RF: precision where the marks live
Stretch marks sit at varying depths in the dermis, and skin thickness differs between a hip, a stomach and an arm. Potenza RF’s four RF modes and adjustable needle depths let your nurse deliver energy precisely into each mark — and its insulated, gold-tipped needles make treatment safe across virtually all skin tones, which matters when the goal is blending colour, not risking new marks of a different kind.
RF microneedling vs creams & retinoids for stretch marks
| Potenza™ RF microneedling | Creams & retinoids | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it works | In the dermis, where stretch marks actually live | Mostly at the surface |
| How it works | Rebuilds collagen inside each mark | Supports skin turnover and hydration |
| Degree of change | Visible softening, flattening and blending over a series | Modest — most helpful on very new marks |
| Timeline | 3–5 sessions, improvement over 2–4 months | Daily application for many months |
| Realistic ceiling | Improvement, not erasure | Improvement, not erasure |
Both are proven tools — they just work at different depths. Neither erases stretch marks, and any product or clinic claiming otherwise is overpromising.

The first 24–48 hours
- Expect redness over the treated area for 24–48 hours — it settles on its own.
- Keep the area clean; skip retinoids, acids and fragranced lotions for a few days.
- Wear loose, soft clothing over the treated zone for a day or two.
- Avoid heavy sweating, saunas and hot baths for 48 hours.
- If the area sees sun, protect it with SPF 30 or higher — sun deepens mark contrast.
Who stretch marks treatment isn’t for
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding — we treat after, never during.
- Active infection, rashes or open skin over the treatment area.
- Keloid-prone skin may need a modified plan — flag it and your nurse will assess it with you.
Stretch marks treatment questions, answered
How much does stretch marks treatment cost in Toronto?
Because stretch mark patterns range from a small hip cluster to a full post-pregnancy abdomen, our Etobicoke clinic prices every plan at your complimentary consultation — your nurse maps the area, recommends a series length and provides your personalized treatment plan. Financing is available, and your plan is confirmed before treatment begins.
Can stretch marks be removed completely?
No. Stretch marks are dermal scars; treatment remodels them so they become softer, flatter and closer in colour to the surrounding skin, but a faint trace remains. RF microneedling delivers real, visible improvement — that is the realistic ceiling, and we frame it that way from your first visit.
Do red stretch marks respond better than white ones?
Generally, yes. Newer red or purple marks still have active blood supply and remodel faster, often at the lower end of a series. Mature white marks are older scars with less activity — they still improve, but need the fuller series and more patience. Your nurse assesses yours in person at consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Most plans run three to five sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, with improvement building over two to four months as collagen remodels. Newer marks and smaller areas sit at the lower end; mature white marks across a larger zone need the fuller series.
Is RF microneedling better than stretch mark creams?
They work at different depths. Creams and retinoids support surface turnover and help modestly, mostly on very new marks. RF microneedling rebuilds collagen in the dermis, where stretch marks actually live, producing visible softening and blending over a series. Many clients use both — the full comparison is on this page above.
Which areas can be treated?
The stomach, hips, thighs and arms are the most common at our Etobicoke clinic — anywhere marks have formed from pregnancy, growth or weight change. If loose skin is part of the picture too, we often pair the plan with body skin tightening in the same zones.
Does stretch marks treatment hurt?
We numb the full area with professional-grade topical cream first, so most clients feel warmth and pressure rather than pain. Afterward, expect a mild sunburn feeling for 24 to 48 hours, then business as usual.
Are old stretch marks worth treating?
Often yes — mature white marks still soften, flatten and blend over a fuller series, they just move more slowly than new red ones. The way to know is an in-person look: your nurse will tell you plainly how much improvement your specific marks are likely to see.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes — Potenza RF’s insulated needle design and adjustable RF settings make it safe across virtually all skin tones, which matters doubly here: the goal is blending pigment and texture, not trading one mark for another. Learn more about the platform on our Potenza RF microneedling page.
